About Gecko Robotics
The Opportunity
You can't fix infrastructure that you can't inspect, and humans can't reach 90% of critical assets. Gecko's AI-powered robots go everywhere, see everything, and turn invisible risk into preventable failure across a $500B+ market spanning defense, energy, and manufacturing.
America's infrastructure is crumbling. The American Society of Civil Engineers gave U.S. infrastructure a "C" last year and pegged the funding gap at $3.7 trillion. Power plants, refineries, military vessels, industrial facilities - the assets keeping America operational are failing from the inside out, and most operators are flying blind.
Gecko Robotics fixes that. The company deploys wall-climbing robots with advanced sensors to inspect critical infrastructure humans can't reach. These robots collect proprietary data that prevents catastrophic failures, helps the military maximize asset life, and gives operators actual visibility into what's breaking before it breaks. In a world where we can't rebuild fast enough, Gecko's AI-powered platform turns aging infrastructure into extended, measurable uptime.
Here is the confidential deck.

Founded in 2013 by Jake Loosararian and Troy Demmer, Gecko started with non-destructive testing for power plants and expanded across defense, energy, and manufacturing. After inspecting over 5,200 facilities, the company has proven its ability to improve safety and bring data-driven decision-making to a maintenance industry that’s been largely analog.
Why It’s Working
Gecko Robotics has built a defensible moat through proprietary data collection. Their robots generate the data operators, insurers, and the military use to keep critical assets running. This data flywheel creates compound learning the more infrastructure Gecko inspects, the richer and more predictive their models become.
The company is also transitioning from a "robotic service" business model to one where robots and digital-twin data platforms can operate more autonomously. This shift supports margin expansion by either deploying more autonomous robots (reducing on-site labor) or increasing revenue leverage per team through higher utilization, faster deployments, and recurring software revenue.
Gecko's leadership team has publicly indicated focus on increasing robot autonomy and enabling inspection teams to operate with minimal human oversight. This advancement would support a transition toward higher product-like margins rather than traditional human-intensive service model margins.
Trillions are being spent on infrastructure, but the bigger challenge is keeping existing assets from failing. As industry scales back up, the ability to inspect, maintain, and optimize equipment becomes mission-critical, not optional.

Why We’re Interested (LFG POV)
Gecko isn't selling inspection services - they're building the data infrastructure for America's physical assets. The company is category-defining in infrastructure robotics, and the numbers support that. They raised $125M in June 2025 at a $1.25B valuation, nearly doubling from $633M eighteen months earlier, with Cox Enterprises leading alongside Founders Fund and USIT. Through a relationship with a current investor, we’re able to participate at a slight discount to that round. The company was also recently named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 at No. 30.
The dual-use nature makes this even more compelling. Gecko works with both commercial operators and defense clients, creating diversified revenue and strategic importance that insulates them from single-sector downturns. As infrastructure investment becomes critical to economic competitiveness and national security, Gecko is positioned to capture significant value in a multi-trillion dollar rebuild that's already underway.
